I have always been fascinated with construction and remodeling projects. This interest led me to embark on a journey in 2003, working alongside experienced contractors to gain invaluable insights into the industry.
Fifteen years into the journey, I have reached a significant milestone in 2018 by securing my contractor’s license - a confirmation to my unwavering commitment to excellence. While the days may be long, the gratification of witnessing the contentment on my clients’ faces makes every moment worthwhile.

Miguel is very easy to talk to and work with. He understands what you need. His crew is very courteous, and they do a meticulous job. There were some delays brought about by the lock down during the pandemic and the designer, but they were not because of MT Builders. While waiting for the permits to be approved by the city, we also asked Miguel to install pavers in our backyard, build a bench and tile the wall.

“I would highly recommend MT Builders & Remodeling to anyone who needs a great general contractor, for work ranging from small repairs to major home additions or remodels of kitchens and bathrooms. Miguel is not only a very nice person who communicates on every facet of the work, but is very fair in pricing, and won’t nickel and dime you when there are minor problems or changes.
He has an excellent staff of around 5 long term employees, and his subcontractors have also been working for MT Builders for years. Unlike most contractors, his staff and subs are always on time (usually 20 minutes before they are allowed to start), and they show up as scheduled. His jobs are well protected, cleaned up daily, with minimum dust or impact to the rest of the house.
I met Miguel around 4 years ago, and they did a few minor repair jobs for me. Since then we have completed a major master bath remodel in 2021, a full kitchen redo in 2022, and just completed two other bathroom updates! All jobs have been on time and within budget…with the most recent work done in just over 3 weeks!
Miguel will stay in contact even after job completion, and proudly will tell you that he remains your contractor for anything that might arise…even minor matters or quick fixes.
